Fotinari Beach, within 5 minutes walking distance, is a non organized small beach ideal for snorkeling, thanks to its rich sea life bottom in a mixed natural environment.

Always to the west side and in a few more walking minutes you arrive to  Souda Beach. Famous for its crystal waters offers the possibility to choose the comfort of umbrellas and sunbeds, stay in the naturalist part of the beach or in the more busy area with immediate access to beach bar and restaurants.

Over the east side and within 1 km from our accommodations is located Plakias seaside village. In Plakias you can swim and snorkeling in “limanaki” family beach (or Gavdiotolimano), explore Paligremnos long beach (or Plakias beach) or walk in the main town where is plenty of choice of cafe bar, restaurant, supermarket etc..

In the surrounding area of Plakias you can visit many places by car or with an organized trip. Boat trips and travel agencies can help to reach more Cretan destinations as well as nearby places like Preveli palm beach and monastery, Frangokastello, Triopetra, Samaria gorge and other.

Activities are not missing from the area and there is the possibility to practice plenty of them like diving, horseback riding, water sports, fishing trips and other. If you prefer to walk in the nature you can explore the walking paths of the area that connect the small villages passing through amazing natural sceneries.
